Dr Andrew Shehovych

Dr Andrew Shehovych is a locally trained orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty expertise in shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand surgery. He completed orthopaedic training in Tweed heads, Canberra and Sydney. He then undertook a Hand and Upper Limb Fellowship at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.  He treats sports injuries, arthritis, fractures, and nerve compression (such as carpal tunnel), offering evidence-based non-operative care and surgery, including keyhole (arthroscopic) techniques where appropriate.  He is committed to holistic, patient-centred care, taking time to understand each person's goals, lifestyle, and overall wellbeing.
