Clinical Practice
Dr Tan is a specialist urological surgeon with a focus on uro-oncology, particularly kidney and prostate cancers. He is experienced in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as minimally invasive treatments for prostate enlargement, including holmium laser surgery. Dr Tan practises at Hollywood Private Hospital and is also a visiting specialist in Geraldton.
Background & Training
Andrew is originally from New Zealand where he completed his Urological training in 2002. He was awarded a travelling scholarship by the Endourology Society and undertook a Fellowship in Laparoscopy and Endourology at University of Western Ontario in Canada. Prior to Urological training, Andrew completed his Medical Degree at the University of Otago, New Zealand.Andrew has taught internationally on laparoscopy and laser surgery and has published several research papers and book chapters.
