Dr Jang is an Australian trained Orthopaedic surgeon. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He attended Fort Street High School in Petersham before completing his Bachelor of Medicine degree at Newcastle University. He has worked in hospitals all over Australia including his formal orthopaedic training in Perth.
Dr Jang has completed subspecialty fellowship training focussing on advanced upper limb surgery from shoulder to the hand. He now delivers expert management on complex shoulder and elbow conditions. He is appointed at Concord Repatriation General Hospital for upper limb surgery and general orthopaedic trauma. He is also a Clinical Lecturer at the Concord Clinical school and Sydney University.
Dr Jang is highly trained in upper limb orthopaedics including high energy trauma, sports shoulder/elbow, and joint arthroplasty. The latest techniques and an evidence-based approach is utilised by Dr Jang who has published in multiple peer reviewed journal articles and presented at state/national and international meetings. Dr Jang also enjoys teaching and has been awarded multiple awards for teaching excellence. He is a co-supervisor on the Sydney Fellowship for Advanced Upper Limb Surgery.
