Dr Danielle Wadley

Dr Danielle Wadley is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with advanced training in foot and ankle surgery. She graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. During her orthopaedic training she undertook a Post Graduate Diploma of Sports Medicine, which complements her interest in sports foot and ankle injuries. She went on to complete a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Calgary, Canada, and obtained additional experience in numerous well renowned centres throughout North America including the Hospital for Special Surgery, NYC and Duke University.

Danielle treats patients who have acute fractures or sport injuries, and all other components of foot and ankle work including ankle arthroplasty, reconstruction procedures and arthroscopy. She provides individual, personalised care, using a variety of non-surgical and surgical strategies to achieve the best outcome.

She is an active member of the Women in Orthopaedics community and participates in a variety of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association activities such as the RACS Young Fellows Forum, orthopaedic trainee teaching, exam preparation and trainee selection. She is a regular contributor to medical research in both ongoing scientific papers and FAI (Foot and Ankle International).

Dr Wadley has a passion for a healthy, active lifestyle and encourages her patients to keenly participate and invest in their health and well-being.

To ensure patients are receiving optimum care, Danielle encourages close collaboration with all health professionals. Effective communication and education are essential to her patient care.
