Dr Kim lives with her husband of 20 years and 3 sons. She is a friendly, approachable specialist, and an excellent communicator. Dr Kim loves developing mutually trusting and supportive relationships with patients and their families. She prioritises safe birth for mother and baby. After almost a decade in Burnie, Tasmania working in both private and public practice she chose to relocate to Wollongong after the Private Maternity service in Burnie closed. She missed this so much she chose to relocate herself and her family to a larger regional community, which is thriving and growing, and has much nicer weather for swimming outdoors. When she is not working, Kim enjoys spending time with her boys, reading, swimming and indoor and outdoor gardening. She is a self-declared indoor plant addict.
