About
Matthew graduated in Medicine and Surgery at Sydney University and completed his Orthopaedic training in Sydney on the Australian Orthopaedic Training Programme. Following this he spent eighteen months completing Fellowships in Arthroscopic and Reconstructive surgery of the Shoulder/Elbow and Knee in Canberra and as the Arthroscopy Fellow at the University of Alberta, Canada. During this period he also gained experience working with the pioneers of modern shoulder joint replacement in Nice and Lyon, France.
He has worked as the team doctor for the Waratah Junior Academy, and is involved with Warringah and Manly rugby clubs. Matthew has a particular interest in sports injuries, arthroscopic and robotic joint replacement surgery of the shoulder and elbow.
