About
Dr Namiko Aleker is an Australian-trained Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. She graduated from The University of Melbourne and completed her specialist training in Hobart, Canberra and Darwin, gaining experience across a range of healthcare settings.
Dr Aleker has also worked in Port Moresby, which has contributed to her understanding of healthcare delivery in diverse environments. In Brisbane, she has worked at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Redcliffe Hospital. She provides care across fertility, obstetrics and gynaecology.
In fertility care, Dr Aleker offers assessment and management of infertility and supports patients through available treatment options in a sensitive and supportive environment. In obstetrics, she provides care throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, including the management of higher-risk pregnancies. She provides comfortable and safe, individualised obstetric care.
In gynaecology, Dr Aleker manages a broad range of conditions, offers colposcopy, and performs minimally invasive surgical procedures. She has a clinical interest in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology.
Outside of work, Dr Aleker enjoys spending time with her young family and reading crime novels.
