Dr Patrick Teloken is a Specialist Urological Surgeon who provides patient-centered care and believes in a holistic approach towards treatment to ensure his patients achieve the best possible outcomes and is accredited privately at Hollywood Private Hospital. His main area of focus includes bladder and prostate conditions such as male lower urinary tract symptoms and prostate enlargement (managed with minimally invasive techniques including HoLEP and robotic simple prostatectomy), prostate cancer risk assessment (PSA evaluation) and treatment support procedures (fiducial marker and rectal spacer insertion), kidney and ureteric stones, and vasectomy and vasectomy reversal. Dr Teloken is fluent in both English and Portuguese, enabling him to effectively communicate with and provide care for a diverse, multinational patient population.
Background & Training
Dr Patrick Teloken obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the Federal University Foundation of Health Sciences in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 2008, before completing his postgraduate training in Australia, including urological surgical training in Queensland with a focus on robotic surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH). He was awarded an Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate in 2011, completed a Master of Surgery at the University of Western Australia, and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020, alongside maintaining an active interest in urological research.
