Dr Sophia Wong

Dr Sophia Wong is a Cardiologist. She has a clinical interest in preventative cardiology, including the management of blood pressure, cholesterol and cardiovascular risk. She manages conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure and valve disease, and performs procedures including coronary angiography and stenting. She has an interest in cardiovascular care in women.

Dr Wong assesses patients with symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath and concerns about cardiovascular risk. She provides investigation and management of cardiovascular conditions, including echocardiography and stress testing, as well as procedures to diagnose and treat coronary artery disease.

She has undertaken training in major tertiary hospitals in Australia and internationally, including the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in the United Kingdom.

Dr Wong is involved in patient education and clinical decision-making, with a focus on clear communication and evidence-based care. She accepts referrals for assessment and management of cardiovascular conditions.
