Dr Stephen Tattersall

Dr Stephen Tattersall is a specialist in gastrointestinal disease. He has expertise in diagnosing and treating people with problems including abdominal pain, indigestion, reflux, diarrhoea, constipation, bleeding from the bowel and diseases of the liver. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr Tattersall has published in peer-reviewed medical journals on topics including inflammatory bowel disease, viral hepatitis, chronic pancreatitis, helicobacter pylori and iron deficiency. He has participated in multi-national trials of novel treatments for inflammatory bowel disease. He has pursued his interest in research through a Masters Degree in Clinical Epidemiology at University of Sydney.
