Mr Joey Faraj is an Australian trained vascular surgeon with expertise in the treatment of both arterial and venous disease. His clinical interests include peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot disease, carotid artery disease and aortic aneurysmal disease, with a strong focus on limb preservation and multidisciplinary care for patients with complex vascular conditions.
He currently holds a public appointment at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, and is the lead consultant for the High Risk Diabetic Foot Service, which manages complex diabetic foot disease to improve limb salvage outcomes.
Mr Faraj completed his medical degree in 2013 at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle before undertaking a Master of Surgery through the University of Sydney. His vascular surgery training took him across Australia, working in major tertiary hospitals in Perth, Townsville, Brisbane, Newcastle and Melbourne, where he gained extensive experience in both open and endovascular vascular surgery.
Mr Faraj provides comprehensive vascular care, offering both open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular treatments tailored to the individual needs of his patients.
