Clinical Practice
Professor Patrice Mwipatayi is a Vascular Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of vascular conditions, including aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, varicose veins, leg ulcers, and Raynaud’s syndrome. He provides comprehensive vascular care using the most appropriate treatment approach for each patient, including endovascular (minimally invasive), surgical, and medical therapies. Professor Mwipatayi operates at Hollywood Private Hospital and Ramsay Private at Joondalup Health Campus and offers a NO GAP Cover for privately insured patients. He also holds public appointments at Royal Perth Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus. He is also actively involved in clinical research and advancing innovation in vascular surgery.
Education & Qualifications
Professor Mwipatayi completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, in 1990. He subsequently undertook specialist surgical training in Australia and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2005. Alongside his clinical practice, he maintains a strong commitment to education, research, and the training of future vascular surgeons.
